EP Governor Thondaman expresses condolence on Vijayakanth’s passing

Governor of the Eastern Province Senthil Thondaman yesterday expressed his Condolences on the sudden demise of popular Indian actor and DMK Founder Vijayakanth.

“I am deeply saddened by the demise of DMDK leader, Captain Vijayakanth who underwent treatment at hospital in India due to his physical illness”, said Senthil Thondaman Eastern Province Governor and President of Ceylon Workers Congress.

In his message of sympathy, he further said that Vijayakanth, devoted his entire life for the well being of the people.

“Through various meetings with him, I have come to know that he is a leader to be admired through his thoughts and actions.”

Thondaman said that the late Vijayakanth had a great love for Sri Lankan people as well.

“He has done many services for the people in Sri Lanka. He was unparalleled for his hospitality to the people in Sri Lanka. His demise, is a great loss for the people of Tamil Nadu specially”
