Fined Rs.200,000 for having two foreign cigarettes

Attanagalla Magistrate Manjula Karunaratne yesterday ordered the fine of Rs.200,000 on a person who pleaded guilty for possessing two foreign cigarettes.

An individual residing in Kithalawana in Nalla was imposed this fine when he was produced before Attanagalla Magistrate’s Court yesterday.

Prosecution was led by Police Sergeant P.G.A Kumara of the Nalla Police.
