Five Suspects Arrested in Connection with Ambalantota Triple Murder

Five suspects have been arrested in connection with the brutal triple homicide in the Mamadala area of Ambalantota, where three individuals were fatally attacked with sharp weapons last night (02).

According to police, the arrests were made following a joint operation conducted by officers from Ambalantota, Tangalle, and Hungama police stations.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the murders stemmed from a dispute related to the illegal liquor trade. Further inquiries are ongoing.
