Former Deputy Minister Cegu Issadeen passes away

The founder Chairman of Sri Lanka Muslim Congress and former Media, Information, Highway and Rural Development Deputy Minister Cegu Isadeen passed away yesterday (28) morning at Akkaraipattu. He was born on May 12, 1944. His daughter Hasana Issadeen serves as the personal secretary to Prime Minister Harini Amerasuriya.

His funeral will took place in Akkaraipattu on Thursday (28). He was the instrumental in establishing Pirai FM during his tenure and dedicated his life for the growth of Sri Lanka Muslim Congress with late founder leader of Sri Lanka Muslim Congress M.H.M. Ashraff. (A.B.Abdul Gafoor)
