Free Medical Camp in Kattankudy by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre

A free medical camp organised by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre started in Kattankudy yesterday. This noble initiative provides a comprehensive range of medical services, including eye examinations conducted by qualified ophthalmologists, surgeries, prescription medications, conjunctiva removal, treatment for tear duct blockages and the provision of eyeglasses, all at no cost. A five member delegation from King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre arrived in Sri Lanka to organise the effort. Here, the delegation with Saudi Ambassador to Sri Lanka Khalid Hamoud Alkahtani. The Saudi embassy has organised similar efforts at identified areas islandwide to alleviate the suffering of underprivileged communities in Sri Lanka, regardless of race, religion, caste or creed. The medical camp in Kattankudy will offer free services to people in the East, North, North Central and Wayamba Provinces until 16th of this month.
