Government rejects Gammanpila’s Easter Attack reports

The government has rejected two reports revealed by former parliamentarian Pivithuru Hela Urumaya Leader Udaya Gammanpila regarding the 2019 Easter Sunday attacks, stating they are politically motivated and lack credibility.

Addressing the weekly cabinet media briefing today at the Government Information Department, Minister Herath said that these two reports have been unveiled with the only purpose of taking political advantage and the government has already launched a comprehensive investigation into Easter Attack as well as the two reports unveiled by former MP Gammanpila.
