Govt. to compensate road accident victims

The Ministry of Transportation is planning to introduce a legal framework within one month’s time to allow victims of road accidents to obtain compensation without going to court, State Minister of Transportation Lasantha Alagiyawanna said.

The State Minister of Transportation said that necessary regulations in this regard have already been prepared.
