Group opens fire, flees in Katuwila

Ahungalla Police are conducting investigations to identify a group of people who had fled the area after opening fire into air at Katuwila area around 11.30 p.m. on Tuesday night.

A group of individuals came by a mini car had opened fire with a T-56 weapon near a cinnamon processing factory in the Katuwila area. Police have found 27 bullet shells in the location. Police are yet to arrest the suspects.
