HC orders to produce ‘Harak Kata’ in Court on October 6

The Colombo High Court Judge issued an order to the CID yesterday (26) to produce Nandun

Chinthaka Wickramaratne alias “Harak Kata”, who is known as Godfather of underworld and currently detained and interrogated by the Criminal Investigation Department according to the order of the Defence Ministry Secretary to Court on October 6. The order was delivered when the case was taken up before Colombo High Court Judge Navaratne Marasinghe.

The High Court Judge issued this order to the Director of the Criminal Investigation Department after considering a case filed by the Attorney General against the accused on charges of entering a house in Mulleriyawa and threatening to kill residencies with firearms and robbery of money and a vehicle.

On June 10, 2015, this case was filed under the charges of robbing money and a car by entering the house of Anura Palitha Perera along with a person who is now dead.
