Illegal bar raided in Mirihana with stock

Central Anti-Corruption Task Force of police based in Walana, Panadura said that a large-scale illegal liquor bar operating under the guise of a restaurant on Madiwela Road, Mirihana was raided  on the night of April 5 and the owner was arrested along with a stock of liquor worth nearly Rs. one million. A loot of 57 bottles of high-priced liquor, 119 cans of beer and 620 cigarettes and illicit liquor was taken into police custody with the suspect.

A team led by Sub-Inspector N.S Sandaruwan conducted the raid.
