Illegal fuel sale: businessman arrested with over 6,800 litres of fuel
A businessman was arrested in Gonapola on Tuesday (24) for allegedly using a fuel bowser to illegally sell fuel.
The 46-year-old resident of Moragahahena was taken into custody by the Walana Anti-Corruption Strike Force following an intelligence-based investigation.
Authorities seized 6,752 litres of diesel and 120 litres of petrol from the suspect. (NewsWire)
