Imported milk powder price down by Rs. 150

The Trade Ministry has taken steps to reduce the price of imported milk powder with effect from midnight yesterday (24).

Accordingly, the price of a kilogramme of imported milk powder has been reduced by Rs. 150 rupees and the price of a 400 gram packet of milk powder has been reduced by Rs. 60. Trade Minister Nalin Fernando stated that the prices were lowered as a result of last week’s negotiations with milk powder importers.
