International Mother Language Day celebrated

International Mother Language Day was celebrated at a ceremony held at Independence Square in Colombo under the patronage of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday. Picture shows a winner of the essay and arts competition receiving his prize and certificate from the Prime Minister.Bangladesh High Commissioner Tareq Md Ariful Islam, Ministers Dinesh Gunawardena and Bandula Gunawardena were also present.
