International Taekwondo Tourney in Sri Lanka

An international tournament organized jointly by the Asian Regional Branch of the Taekwondo Humanitarian Foundation (THF), a subsidiary of the Sri Lanka Taekwondo Federation and the World Taekwondo Federation, is scheduled to be held in Colombo on December 7 and 8.

The Memorandum of Understanding for the basic agreement on this was signed by Kang Dae Geun, Asia Region Head of Taekwondo Humanitarian Foundation and Chaminda Punchihewa, President of Sri Lanka Taekwondo Federation. Also, the Sri Lankan branch of the World Taekwondo Humanitarian Foundation was established and Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council Chairman Kanchana Jayaratne was appointed as its chairman. The official letter was signed and the official insignia was installed here.

Sri Lanka Taekwondo Federation General Secretary Ruwan Alahakon, Technical Committee Chief Ki Su Lee and Financial Administrator Dasun Wijesinghe participated on the occasion.
