Italian Ambassador Damiano Francovigh calls on Minister of Public Security Tiran Alles

The Italian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Damiano Francovigh came to the Ministry of Public Security on Wednesday (20) to meet Public Security Minister Tiran Alles.

The bilateral diplomatic relationship between Sri Lanka and Italy was discussed and the current political situation of Sri Lanka was also touched on in this discussion.

Measures that could be taken by the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Interior of Italy to control illegal immigrants and drug trafficking between the two countries were also discussed.

Here, Minister Alles and Damiano Francovigh considered the needs of Sri Lankans living in Italy.
