IUSF, others restrained from protests near Parliament

Colombo Additional Magistrate Harshana Kekunawela yesterday issued a Restraining Order against persons from staging protests on the roads from Polduwa junction to the main entrance of Parliament today.

The Magistrate made this order pursuant to a request made by the Welikada Police. The Magistrate had issued the Court order against fourteen individuals including Inter-University Students’ Federation (IUSF) Convener Wasantha Mudalige and others.
