Japan grants 284 million Yen for HR schols

The Japanese government has agreed to provide 284 million Japanese yen to the second batch of the fourth time frame of the Japanese aid programme for human resource development scholarships 2023 programme.

Cabinet Spokesman, Minister of Mass Media, Dr.Bandula Gunawardena said that the proposal presented by President Ranil Wickremesinghe to reach the related agreement was approved by the Cabinet.

The minister announced this at the Cabinet media conference yesterday (18) held at the Government Information Department.
