Under the assistance of the Japanese government, a grant of 40,000 metric tons of diesel has been received for the transport activities of the Sri Lankan health service including ambulances.
The official handing over of the grant to the Ministry of Health took place today (19) at the Colombo Port.
A Fuel Management Information System (FIMS) has been created for the distribution of diesel received, and the system includes all the information about the vehicles that have received fuel, the amount of fuel received, and all the information about the health institutions.
