JVP organises protest campaign

The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna has organized a chain of protests countrywide demanding the government to reduce fuel prices and essential goods.

The protests will be held on December 23 and 24. The protests will be held centering main cities in all provinces.

The protests will be held in Colombo, Gampaha, Kiribathgoda, Ratnapura, Kegalle, Monaragala, Matale, Nuwaraeliya, Dambulla, Anuradhapura, Ginigathhena, Kalutara, Galle, Matara, Badulla, Kurunegala, Puttalam, Polonnaruwa and Trincomalee.

The theme of the protests will focus on demanding the government to decrease the fuel price and the prices of essential goods considering the present economic situation of the country.
