Karateka Naveesha Kalani wins a Gold Medal

A grade ten student of Dhammissara National School Nattandiya S. M. Naveesha Kalani participated for the First Lion City Cup Karate Championship 2023 held in Singapore and 36 students boys and girls from 7 countries participated for this tournament and it was organized by Sri Lanka Schools Karate Do Federation with the guidance of Ministry of Education.

Naveesha won a Gold Medal in Kumite in the age group of 14/15 years and in Kata event too she won a Bronze Medal and brought honour and glory to her Alma Mater and her motherland and she is coached by Mr. Peter and Sugath Kumara.
