Kosgama Police recover 27 stolen gas cylinders, three suspects out on bail

Officers of the Kosgama Police arrested three suspects who broke into several shops and eateries in the Kosgama Police Division and stole 27 LP gas cylinders.

The Police also said that a motor car and two three-wheelers, which were allegedly used to transport the stolen LP gas cylinders, were also seized by them.

Three persons aged between 25 and 38 who are residents of Pugoda, Ranala Jaltara and Kaduwela Kothalawala areas have been arrested.

The three arrested suspects were released on bail after being produced before the Avissawella Magistrate’s Court.
