Lalkantha knows AKD cannot rule country – Marikkar

SJB Parliamentarian S.M. Marikkar yesterday said that JVP’s Lalkantha clearly knows that the leader of the party Anura Kumara Dissanayake is not a suitable person to govern the country. 

Addressing the media in Colombo Marikkar said, “Anura Kumara Dissanayake, who went to the Iranian Embassy to express his condolences on the death of the Iranian President, wrote down his condolence message after looking at a piece of paper, with a message written by someone else and Lalkantha knows better than the people that such a person cannot rule the country.”

Marikkar said that because Lalkantha knows this, he is making statements detrimental to the party that will reduce the vote base of the JVP.

“There are only six weeks left to call the Presidential Election and there are 132 days to call the Parliamentary Elections. If the Parliamentary Elections come early, teams should be put in every district. But the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna does not have such a group. The lies spread by the JVP on social media will get exposed soon,” he added.
