Lanka Hospitals shines with Gold at TAGS Annual Report Awards

Lanka Hospitals has announced its remarkable achievement of securing the Gold Award for the second consecutive year at the prestigious TAGS Annual Report Awards Competition, organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka).

This accolade underscores Lanka Hospitals’ steadfast commitment to upholding the core values of Transparency, Accountability, Governance, and Sustainability (TAGS). The TAGS Awards serve as a benchmark for corporate excellence in both financial and non-financial reporting, promoting enhanced corporate governance practices and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) compliance.

With a legacy spanning over 56 years, the Annual Report Awards Competition was rebranded and reconceptualised as the TAGS Awards in 2022. The new format reflects the growing demands of stakeholders, including investors and shareholders, by focusing on contemporary reporting practices that go beyond financial disclosures.

The competition evaluates organizations on their ability to embrace digital transformation, corporate governance, and sustainability practices while providing stakeholders with a transparent view of their operations and long-term value creation.
