Lanka IOC assures public on fuel supply, energy security

Managing Director of Lanka IOC K. Raghu on Saturday (14) assured the public that the company would continue to maintain the country’s fuel supply and contribute to ensuring energy security.

Speaking at an event, Raghu said Lanka IOC remains committed to supporting the country’s energy needs despite existing challenges.

“As the Managing Director of Lanka IOC, I only want to tell the people that you are all in safe hands. We will maintain the fuel line and provide energy security to the country, which is very important,” he said.

Raghu acknowledged that the current situation was not entirely favourable but expressed confidence that the government and companies in the sector were making every effort to ensure a stable fuel supply.

“Yes, I will not say the situation is very rosy, but I will definitely assure you that you are all in safe hands. Companies are doing their best, the government is doing its best, and we will continue to fuel the progress of the country,” he said. (NewsWire)
