Lankan woman’s body recovered from Lebanon rubble
The body of a 65-year-old Sri Lankan woman has been recovered from among the rubble of a collapsed building in Lebanon on Saturday.
The deceased woman has been identified as I. Premalatha from the Matara area.
The Sri Lankan Embassy in Beirut will make arrangements to bring her remains to the country.
The five-storey building in Lebanon collapsed, on October 16.
