Law will be enforced against Easter attack culprits – Minister

Cabinet Spokesman, Mass Media Minister Vijitha Herath yesterday said the law will definitely be implemented against culprits of the Easter Sunday attacks and will not allow the mistakes of history to be repeated under this government.

He was responding to a query by a journalist at this at the Cabinet media conference held at the Government Information Department.

He said that the President has already taken preliminary measures and appointed a special committee for this purpose and that committee will look into the matter whether any irregularity happened through the President’s Office and issues related to the Commission’s reports.

“We have commenced activities in this regard in the short time since the President was appointed. We will not allow any injustice to happen to the people of this country,” Minister Herath added.
