‘Lebanan Chef’ with a range of traditional Arabic cuisines now in Colombo 03

The ‘Lebanan Chef’ – Arabic Food restaurant recently commenced its operations at Galle Road, Colombo 3, with the aim of giving Sri Lankans as well as tourists from around the world the opportunity to taste authentic Arabic food.

Minister of Labor and Foreign Employment Manusha Nanayakkara along with several diplopic communities representing the Middle East region participated in the opening.

“This is the first restaurant opened by Lebanan Chef Private Limited and we plan to expand our restaurant network to many other places in Sri Lanka where there are tourist attractions in the future,” said its Founder and Managing Director, Buddhi Pradeep Niyadandupola ‘Lebanan Chef’, which offers a full range of traditional Arabic cuisines, is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and all its chefs are hailing from Arabic countries.

“The restaurant was opened at a time when Sri Lanka’s tourism industry is gradually recovering and we also see an increase of tourist arrivals from the Middle East.”

Millions of Sri Lankans have been working in the Middle East for about 40 years and we also expect some of them who are back in Sri Lanka to visit ‘Lebanan Chef’ restaurant was opened in Colombo 3.’ ‘ he further said.
