Mahamaya Girls dominate (3 x 3) cager tourney

The Basketball Teams of Mahamaya Girls’ School,Kandy won Three Basketball titles at the (3 x 3) Basketball Tournament held at St.Anthonys’ Girls School Basketball Courts on the 26th of December organized by the Kandy District Basketball Association. This tournament was sponsored by the Raj Fitness Centre, Kandy and veteran Basketball Coach, S.Pingamage played a major role to conduct the Tournament in which Thirty eight teams and One Hundred and Forty Basketball Players of the Kandy District participated and it was a one day tournament. The Chief Guest was Shane de Silva, former Cricketer of Trinity College and the present P.O.G. of the School.

Under 16 Boys – Champions – Gateway College,Kandy Runners-up – Trinity College,Kandy – Scores 5/2

Under 16 Girls – Champions – Mahamaya Girls School Runners-up – St.Anthonys’ Girls –Katugastota – Scores 3/2
