Maheesh Theekshana to undergo a scan today

Sri Lankan spinner Maheesh Theekshana could potentially miss Sunday’s Asia Cup final against India after sustaining a hamstring strain during Thursday’s Super 4 match against Pakistan.

Theekshana injured himself while attempting to stop a boundary, and while he returned to bowl, he was visibly debilitated and in pain.

Sri Lanka Cricket said the player will undergo a scan today to fully assess his condition.
