Man posing as STF officer steals laptop

A man posing as an officer of the Police Special Task Force broke into a house on Vijaya Kumaratunga Mawatha in Polhengoda, Colombo, and stole a laptop and a pair of shoes.

Police said that the thief was dressed in the uniform of the Police Special Task Force, and committed this robbery in the early hours of yesterday (24), threatening the 55-year-old businessman who owns the house, with a large knife.
