Man who fired pistol in the air arrested

Amidst the ongoing fuel crisis, a person came to get fuel near a gas station in the Badulla Hindagoda area, with a pistol, at night and after an argument with several people shot in the air and scared the public and gas station employees.
Within a few hours of the incident, the suspect was arrested and the .9mm pistol used for the shooting was also recovered by officers of the Badulla Criminal Investigation Division.
Badulla Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
