Marlbo Trading engages with calibration Business verticals

Marlbo Trading Company which completed over three decades of service to the power industries, utilities and the field of electrical allied products has been appointed as the sole Authorized Fluke distributor for the Fluke Industrial Group products in Sri Lanka.

“Marlbo Trading Company is now making arrangements to take over the Fluke Calibration Division to promote their products in Sri Lanka,” said Chairman, Marlbo Trading Company M. Maniymuthu.

Calibration is the process of ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measurement instruments by comparing them to known standards. He said that though Calibration is a critical component in several countries, in Sri Lanka most of the sectors have underplayed it while many laboratories in universities, ITI, SLSI and private institutions regularly engage in the process of Calibration. “We keep on updating the importance of Calibration and today many companies are responding positively towards it.”

Fluke Calibration, a division of Fluke Corporation, specializes in precision calibration instruments and software for electrical, temperature, pressure, flow, and RF measurements. Their products are utilized in calibration labs and manufacturing environments to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Fluke Calibration provides a range of solutions, including calibrators, standards, and software to ensure the accuracy and reliability of measurement instruments, meeting regulatory requirements and maintaining quality standards.

Maniymuthu also said as a responsible company that started in 1989 they have already passed the US dollar declining benefit to the customers.

“By regularly calibrating instruments, organizations can ensure accuracy, mitigate risks, and enhance efficiency, ultimately leading to better outcomes and cost savings. This is also important in the health, aviation and electrical sectors as well,” said Director of Fluke Calibration, P. Sridharan.

“The calibration instrument is actively used in industries such as Manufacturing, Aviation and Aerospace, Automotive, Environmental Monitoring, Energy and Utilities, Research and Development, Food and Beverage, Pharmaceuticals, Metrology and Measurement.”

He said that the Fluke USA company was established in 1948 and has manufacturing facilities in Europe.
