Massive poverty alleviation project under SJB – Sajith

SJB Presidential Candidate Sajith Premadasa yesterday said a massive programme will be implemented under his administration aiming at alleviating poverty in every Divisional Secretariat division. He said that one million entrepreneurs will be created after he comes into power giving an unprecedented boost to the production sector.

“Smart agriculture maneuvers will be introduced to the farmers with an objective of boosting agriculture sector.”, he added. The Opposition Leader said that most modern technology will be introduced to all hospitals.

He also added that the Wayamba University established during the tenure of former President Ranasinghe Premadasa will also be developed with modern amenities.Premadasa was speaking at an election rally in Bingiriya yesterday.

He also said that the Bingiriya Export Zone will be expanded under his administration He also said that plans are afoot to establish manufacturing factories in every Divisional Secretariat Divisions in the Kurunegala district.
