Matara – Ratnapura main road blocked due to earth-slip

Owing to an earth slip on the Matara – Ratnapura main road (A-17) has been blocked.

Earth slip has occurred near the 85th Mile Post this morning.

The Disaster Management Centre (DMC) has urged motorists to use alternative routes, till the road is cleared.
