Measles vaccination program for children this weekend

The MMR (measles-mumps-rubella) immunization program will be held today and tomorrow (Jan.21).

Immunization Program for is conducted for the children aged between 9 months and 15 years.

MMR vaccination program commenced on  January 06 will also being rolled out further on Saturdays until February 03.

It takes place from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Colombo (including the CMC area), Gampaha, Kalutara, Galle, Matara, Kandy, Jaffna, Kurunegala and Kalmunai health districts. Children born between April 07, 2023, and July 05, 2023, are eligible to receive the additional vaccination dose.
