Minister Dr. Bandula condoles Railway GM’s sudden demise

Transport, Highways and Mass Media Minister Dr. Bandula Gunawardhana yesterday expressed his deep sorrow following the sudden demise of Railways General Manager H. M. K. W. Bandara. Railways General Manager H.M.K.W.Bandara passed away yesterday (23) following a sudden illness while attending development programmes in Anuradhapura.

A Bodhi Pooja was performed yesterday evening at the Sacred Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi premises to invoke merits on him. Due to his death, the opening of the Anuradhapura Assistant Commercial Superintendent’s office of the Sri Lanka Railways Department was also postponed.
