More than 17 Mn citizens eligible to vote at Prez polls

As per 2024 electoral register, 17,140,354 registered voters are eligible for casting votes at the Presidential Election scheduled to be held on September 21.

Of these voters, the highest number is reported from the Gampaha district totalling 1,881,129. The number of voters in the Colombo district is 1,765,351, while the number in the Kurunegala district is 1,417,226.

The number of voters who are eligible for casting their votes at the Presidential Election in each electoral division is as follows:
