More than 80 political parties and civil organizations are with the UNP – Range Bandara

UNP General Secretary Palitha Range Bandara said that more than 80 political parties and civil organizations including the SLPP and SLFP have already joined to work with the UNP and Sajith Premadasa can also join the UNP which is like his ancestral home.

The UNP General Secretary said this while speaking to the media after meeting electorate organizers and local political leaders of the district, at the Anuradhapura District Election Office on March 31.

He said further that the leaders who were removed from the powerful positions of the SLFP by former President Maithripala Sirisena will support the government of President Ranil Wickremesinghe in the future and the main group of the SJB has now joined President Wickremesinghe and that party has become similar to a balloon filled with air and Sajith Premadasa can return to the UNP which is like his ancestral home.
