Mother, two children die in train collision

Arachchikattuwa Police reported that a mother and her two children died yesterday (19) when the scooter they were travelling in collided with a train at the Chilaw Arachchikattuwa Railway Crossing. The deceased are residents of Arachchikattuwa.

Residents claim that the railway gate was not closed at the time of the incident, which occurred while the mother was taking her two children to a tuition class. Arachchikattuwa Police conducting investigations.
