Motorcycle recovered

The motorcycle used by suspects in a shooting in Bastian Mawatha, Pettah, in May 2022, was recovered by Piliyandala Police from a house in Gonapola.

One person was killed and another was injured in the shooting.

Police also took another motorcycle and a three-wheeler found in this house, into their custody. They also arrested three suspects, who had six grams of ICE and two grams of cannabis in their possession, on a tip-off they had received.

The three-wheeler is said to be stolen from Makuluduwa, Bokundara.
