Mrs. Sri Lanka ordered to appear in Court

Colombo Chief Magistrate Prasanna De Alwis yesterday ordered Mrs. Sri Lanka Pushpika de Silva to appear in Court on July 19 in connection with the incident involving Caroline Jury, as de Silva was not present in Court yesterday.

The Chief Magistrate while making his order said that Pushpika de Silva will be given the last date.

The case was called based on a complaint made to the Cinnamon Gardens Police by Mrs. Sri Lanka Pushpikada Silva that Caroline Jury assaulted her during the Mrs.World pageant.

The Magistrate also ordered the Police to report the incident to the court on July 19.
