Multidisciplinary Desk Research Conference at Kelaniya University tomorrow

The Library of Kelaniya University has organised the International Multidisciplinary Desk Research Conference. The event is scheduled to be held tomorrow (25) at 9.00 a.m. at the Computer and Technology Faculty, Kelaniya University.

Vice Chancellor of the Kelaniya University, Senior Prof. Nilanthi De Silva will be the Chief Guest.

The conference programme includes four keynote lectures by academics: the former Chairman of the Dance and Ballet Panel in the Arts Council of Sri Lanka; professional dancer Dr. Ravibandhu Vidyapati, Prof. Liyanage Amarakeerthi from the Sinhala Department at the Peradeniya University; Prof. Buddhi Marambe from the Agricultural Sciences Faculty, Peradeniya University and former Vice Chancellor of Colombo University, Dr. Chandrika N. Wijayaratne of the Medicine Faculty of Colombo University. There will be an invited lecture by Milinda Tennakoon, Cinematic Composition, Lecturer of the Fine Arts Department, Kelaniya University.
