Namal Rajapaksa indicted in connection with the Krrish transaction

The Attorney General has filed indictments against Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa on charges of criminal misappropriation of Rs. 70 million in connection with the Krish transaction.

The Attorney General has forwarded these indictments to the Colombo High Court.

The Attorney General has filed these indictments against Namal Rajapaksa for criminal misappropriation of Rs. 70 million from an Indian company under the pretext of promoting the game of rugby.

The Police Financial Crimes Investigation Division had previously reported the facts before the Fort Magistrate’s Court in relation to this incident and Namal Rajapaksa was arrested as a suspect in the case, produced before the court and released on bail.
