NCM against Keheliya handed over to Speaker

A No Confidence Motion (NCM) signed by the Samagi Jana Balawegaya against Health Minister Dr. Keheliya Rambukwella was handed over to Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena at the Parliament complex yesterday.

The motion was handed over to the Speaker by Samagi Jana Balawegaya General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara and Gampaha District MP Dr.Kavinda Jayawardena.

“Around 45 MPs have signed the motion.The motion has raised allegations that the Health Minister is responsible for the collapse of the health sector. A controversial situation arose in the country regarding the sudden deaths of several people in various hospitals in the country. Opposition MPs accused the Health Minister in this regard as well”.
