New Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army appointed

Major General Dinesh Nanayakkara of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment has been appointed as the new Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army (SLA) effective from September 16, 2024.

He has been appointed to the position by the Commander of the Army.
