New Health Secretary assume duties

The Former Director General of Health Services Dr. Palitha Mahipala today assumed duties as new Secretary to the Ministry of Health at the Ministry of Health.

In 2019 Dr. Mahipala was appointed as the World Health Organization (WHO) Representative in Pakistan in 2019 and before joining WHO, he also served as the Additional Secretary of Health and Deputy Director of General Public Health Services.
