New online visa system from today

The new visa process and the online visa application portal of the Department of Immigration and Emigration were implemented today (17).

The department announced that plans to adopt the e-visa system had been formed with GBS Technology Service and IVS Global Institute. The online technique would replace the current ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) methodology.
