New Parliamentary Friendship Association between Sri Lanka and Egypt

It has been decided to establish a new Parliamentary Friendship Association between the Parliaments of Sri Lanka and Egypt, to further enhance economic, political and social ties between Sri Lanka and Egypt.

This decision was made in a recent meeting between the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Sri Lanka Ajith Rajapakse, and the Consul General of the Egyptian Embassy in Sri Lanka, Mohomed Mady.
