Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva and MP Duminda Dissanayake have been unanimously elected as the Chairman and General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) respectively.

These appointments have been made today (19) during an Executive Committee meeting that was convened by the SLFP Nimal Siripala de Silva faction.
