Nissanka Diddeniya felicitation on January 10

The Alumni Association of the University of Peradeniya, Colombo Chapter has organised an event featuring the felicitation of artiste Nissanka Diddeniya alongside the staging of the Sinhala drama ‘Sindukara Kavinaluwa’ on January 10 with two shows at the Namal Malani Punchi Theatre, Borella. Directed by Prof. Mangala Senanayake, with a cast, including Nissanka Diddeniya, Prassannagith Abeysuriya, Rathna Nalani Jayakody and other artistes.

A special show for children will be held at 3.30 p.m. and the public show with the felicitation ceremony will start at 6.30 p.m.

The president of the association Priyath Cabral states that the association expects to raise funds for various projects initiated by the association for conducting welfare activities that will benefit the Peradeniya University students as well as fellow alumni and the general public.
